In the rythm of ordinary days…

The Easter time has ended and the period of „ordinary“ days is coming. We ask why something jolly and nice has ended and maybe we search for a kind of continuation. A lot of us experienced a great joy from that Jesus has won over death - his resurrection. Why then not to take this joy and hope with us to other days? Holy Bible tells us that after Jesus had risen up to Heavens the apostles together with Mary and other members of Christ church followed in praying together up to the fest of Pentecost and then, according to Jesus's assurance, they were all permeated with holy Spirit.

We often realize that we - the people - are imperfect beings and despite of good resolutions we still keep falling down. We are not able to solve many situations which occur, we make wrong decisions, we make the same mistakes again and again. But God does not forget about us… He comes to us with His gifts and compassion in the shape of fire tongues (as a holy Spirit) in order to help us solve our „irresolvable“ problems. In His gifts He gives us everything we need - mainly wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He wants to guide us so that we could find a way out from those (for us) irresolvable circumstances and so that we won´t feel lonely. He also provides us with needed power and knowledge that He is still with us although we can´t see Him.

„And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.“ John 14, 16-18.

If we become deeply conscious about this fact and we let the Spirit impact on us, this impact will become visible in our life and acting. In this way our ordinary days will become irradiated by God's light.
